Golden Globes

The nominees for the Golden Globes just came out.  One of the reasons that these awards have gotten so much attention is that they are looked at as a good predictor of who will win the Oscars.  For most of the '80s and part of the 90's that was true.

But look at this list of winners from the last 10 years:

The Globes are only right half the time.  And this all the less impressive because they get two chances to be a predictor for a winner.
