It seems to me that there have been a number of movies recently about the birth of Jesus. And while I like the trailers for most of them, I usually don't get around to seeing them.
This one may be different.
I've come to trust Angel Studios in terms of quality. This is another venture with Jim Caviezel, who I did not recognize at first in the trailer as Herod the Great.
The part that got me the most was when Satan said to Mary, "You will unleash all the powers of hell." And in a sense, that is correct. All the powers of evil tried to destroy Jesus. But he endured all of the sin and terror of the world so that we could have Heaven. Maybe I'm getting old, but thinking about this makes me terribly emotional.
The quality of the film looks good and they have come very good actors. I am hopeful this one will turn out well.
