15 words or less film review (full review to follow soon) A mediocre movie made much, much worse by terrible casting. Terminate this franchise now. 1 and 1/2 out of 5 stars.
The story can be done well. You can see that in the first season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It is clear that Genisys is a set up for a trilogy. And that would be okay except that the used the wrong cast.
Instead of fifteen words, have you thought about a review haiku?
"Haiku" is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme.
Here's a Haiku to help you remember:
I am first with five Then seven in the middle -- Five again to end.

Bad news, Genisys is the first of a planned reboot trilogy.

If TPTB wanted to make more movies it should have been an anthology, Tales from the Terminator-verse.
