I remember seeing the first Avatar in the theater. I didn't think much of the story, but James Cameron knew how to create an amazing 3D spectacle. You have to remember that the return to the 3D craze is because of what Cameron did with this film.
Seeing this new trailer, I can say that there was absolutely nothing about it that hit me emotionally. Sadly, I don't really care about these characters.
But will I see it in theaters?
I probably will.
The visuals on this are stunning and I kind of want to be swept away by the bold imagery. Perhaps that is a bit shallow, but sometimes you just want something that makes your eyes go wide.
