I am a huge fan of the TV mini-series of this Stephen King book. I would say that I am a fan of the book, but there is a super-perverse scene in the end that makes the book difficult to recommend. Luckily that wasn't in the television version.
But now we are getting a feature film. I am not a fan of horror movies any more, but I just might go see this. The young cast looks pretty good and I like the cinematic feel to the movie.
And Pennywise is terrifying. I'm hoping that with a better budget, the final confrontation won't look as cheesy as it did on TV.
