Casting Call: Invisible Woman

Fantastic Four is about to get rebooted.  I liked the movies fine, but they weren't great.  I also think that Mr. Fantastic, Human Torch, and the Thing were perfectly cast.  Sue Storm/Invisible Woman?  Not so much.

Jessica Alba is a fine actress, but she was not believable as Reed Richards' intellectual equal.  Of course, her part required her mostly to stare at things and look constipated.

So who cold play Sue Storm in the reboot?

She is young, but she projects intelligence.  She did a great job as Gwen Stacey

She brings much more maturity to the role and is a very talented actress

Laura Pulver

An outside the box choice, but her performance as Irene Adler in the BBC show Sherlock was astounding.  She was just as whip-smart and sharp as Holmes

Emma Watson

This post-Potter role could show off more of her action-range.  She plays smart very believably.

  2. None of the above: Without a doubt Sally Kellerman. I admit she might be a little older than some of the author's picks for the Invisible Woman. However, it will be well worth it when the audience hears Kellerman's Invisible Woman quoting Molly Bloom's soliloquy. Just imagine the Invisible Woman with an invisible flower in her hair like the Andalusian girls wearing her invisible red dress next to a Moorish wall... now that is what I am talking about.
