I still think of the MI series as a parody of the James Bond films; the sort that were popular in the early seventies and which still pop up on TCM..Once the Bond Series began to parody itself what's the point? The stunts are world class Popcorn, the plots are indefatigably convoluted, and all are guilty of Criminal Waste of Insanely Hot SideChicks. It's fun to watch Cruise get his wind-sprints in.Are going to see Shaun the Sheep?
I don't think of it so much as parody of Bond as an Americanized Bond. But I'll more into this in my review. No, I don't plan on seeing Shaun the Sheep. It doesn't really interest me. That isn't to say that I think it will be a bad movie. From all accounts, I hear that it is very good. I just have not built up in me a desire to pay money to see it.
